LPA’s reputation is built on the provision of high quality legal work. Our goal is to continuously improve our services to clients by means of our quality approach.
We received ISO 9001 certification in 2001, and the confirmation in 2004, which testifies to the effectiveness of the approach that we apply to our organisation, to the training of lawyers and to information and knowledge-sharing systems.

Ethics : our commitment
Ethics are a part of our profession. The firm has an ethics committee and continuously honours its commitment to ethical values. By ethics, we mean honesty, trust and pledges to our clients.

An international outlook
In today's world, an ability to work efficiently at an international level is an absolute requirement in our profession. The firm places great emphasis on the ability of its teams to work both linguistically and culturally with all major legal jurisdictions throughout the world. Many of our partners and associate lawyers have international qualifications, and many have substantial experience of working in foreign jurisdictions. We have also developed close working relationships with major law firms throughout the world, and are able to select highly specialised legal teams to assist clients with their international requirements. We take particular care to work with foreign law firms that share our working methods, standards and professional ethics. We have our own Hong Kong office in association with the local firm Sit Fung Kwong & Shum, and we have opened a new office in Guangzhou in March 2005.

The firm thus becomes the first French law firm to officially practise in Guangzhou. It will be the only French law firm covering the Pearl River Delta region of southern China.

The Guangzhou office is managed by a multicultural team of four lawyers with expertise in international and Chinese law.

The team members are renowned specialists in foreign investment and business law. They have extensive experience in assisting SMEs and major international groups.

The Guangzhou office is also supported by a “China Desk” based in Paris, consisting of five lawyers, including a Chinese lawyer.
